Dear Diary, Entry 3

Dear Diary, today I slept, ate, slept, and soon, I will be leaving my "safe zone", or my house, for the evening patrol.  All was fine today.  Food was really good too.  I do admit, that even a respected ragdoll cat like me, looks forward to his next meal in the morning.  Ocee, my female cat, also kept nearby--like always.  As mosquitos buzz to pets (or humans), she buzzes around me.  She also buzzes around my pets too.  I sometimes find myself wondering, when not caught up in my desire for food, if my pets will stick around because of her.  Next I think, before wrapping this entry up, that I should count what I am thankful for.  Speaking of thankfulness, I should brace myself for the onslaught of "relatives" coming in for Thanksgiving.  Oh!  And can you believe that Thanksgiving is the only time of year when I feel like I'm the pet?  As riduclous as it may seem, seeing then hovering over their baked turkey-bird, while it's smell wafts through the door makes me feel pet-like, as I try to stare in, my fluffy face leaning in the see through the windows.  Only I wish, that Ocee could catch me one of those delectable turkey-birds for Thanksgiving.  However now I see that my topic is drifting, an I will resume my last topic, which was counting my blessings.  I think I should first start with my beloved pets, even though they are high maintenance, and require to much attention from an older cat like me.  Next I would count noms, er, food, which is really YUMMY.  Then I would count the fact that I am an outdoor cat, and that I have a good home.  Next I am thankful for sleep.  Then I am thankful for Ocee (delete delete)  ____.  Now truly that is all for this entry...I have nothing more to meow about right now, accept that night is falling and I will have to leave soon.  Oh, and also that I would rrreeaallly like one of those famous turkey-birds right now.
